Angel Obinim to run for SRC president as campaign stickers hit social media?

A photo that has been spotted on social media is alleging that the Founder and Leader of International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, is vying for the SRC presidency at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The reported photo has been tied to the wonders the man of God is believed to be doing in the lives of many people with his now-popular ‘Obinim stickers’.

The poster which had the photo of the popular man of God had the caption, “Obinim for SRC president”.

The slogan adopted was, “The power of the sticker”.

In recent times, a trend that has taken over social media and has even gained reference by top politicians in the country is the ‘Obinim Sticker challenge’.

Many people have caught on the ‘craze’ and have recorded videos or made hilarious posts about the wonders of the sticker which is known to cure all things and situations.

Some social media users have ‘testified’ of the good deeds of the sticker and have talked about its efficacy all over social media.

Others, who are plainly bemused by the whole trend have taken swipes at both the pastor and other celebrities by suggesting that they need the sticker even more.

During NDC’s Unity Walk in one of the northern regions on Saturday, April 7, ex-president John Dramani Mahama is believed to have made a reference to the sticker and recommended it to the ‘super-incompetent’ government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
