YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, dancing 'Adowa' at the Manhyia Palace.
The video is said to have been recorded on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Akwasidae celebrations of the chiefs and people of the Asante Kingdom.
In the video, Stonebwoy is seen locked in the popular dance with one of the traditional dancers as he was being welcomed to the palace.
'Adowa' is a dance for the Akan people which is performed during social events like funerals, festivals and other durbars.
It is a normal practice in Asanteman for dignitaries to be welcomed by dancers who will lead them to their seats.
Not long after his 'Adowa' dance, Stonebwoy got the opportunity to meet the celebrated overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The 'Hero' hitmaker who was excited by the meeting took to social media to share a photo of himself and the Asantehene in a warm handshake.
Stonebwoy was part of a powerful delegation from Zylofon Media which joined the Asantehene and his people to celebrate the Akwasidae.
The delegation included Zylofon CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah and his family; and Zylofon music artistes, Shatta Wale who was mobbed upon arrival, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Joyce Blessing, and Obinini Boafo.
Others present were actor ,Toosweet Annan and actress, Bibi Bright.
