Akufo Addo will lose to Mahama if we held elections today – Felix Ofosu Kwakye

- Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Minister of Communications, has stated that President Akufo-Addo will lose to John Mahama if elections were held today

- According to him, the current government has failed Ghanaians

A former Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has claimed that President John Dramani Mahama will easily win power if elections were held in Ghana today.

This, he added, is because the current government has failed to deliver on its promises to Ghanaians.

According to a report by citinewsroom, he said that , “looking at the track record of the two gentlemen in terms of concrete measurable additions to Ghana’s development, Mahama is far ahead of President Akufo-Addo.”

He went ahead to express certainty about a Mahama win based on the track record of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The former minister, speaking on Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM, again noted that Former President John Mahama’s description of the Akufo-Addo-led government as “super incompetent” was apt.

Speaking on the same programme, the Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid, stated that Akufo-Addo’s one year in government far outweighs the NDC’s eight years in government.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that John Mahama, speaking at a Unity Health Walk at Wa, in the Upper West region, revealed that the assertion that his government was incompetent cost them the elections in 2016.

On that score, he stated that the present government, based on its performance so far, is “super incompetent.”
