By now, you may have already heard of the popular Obinim stickers that are making waves all around the country.
The supposed wondrous stickers from the preacher are reported to hold magical powers which have the ability to solve any problem on planet earth.
It is, therefore, no coincidence that the leader and founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has become the most popular man in the country now.
Last week, the now popular Obinim stickers caught the attention of Former President John Dramani Mahama who suggested that President Akufo-Addo need the supposed wondrous stickers to cure what he termed as “super incompetence.”
But talking about poor performance, there are also some government appointees who fall within that category, according to views gathered from most Ghanaians.
Per such a yardstick, let’s then take a look at six of Nana Addo’s ministers who would definitely need an Obinim sticker to perform.
Perhaps an Obinim sticker can help them? Let's find out.
1. Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto
The Minister for Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto has been one of the most criticized appointees of the Nana Addo administration.
He was particularly derided for claiming that government has created over 700,000 jobs with the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative. Also, some have called for his sack, accusing him of neglecting farmers and leaving them to their fate. The Obinim sticker may do right?
2. Isaac Asiamah
The Minister for Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah, and his deputy, Pious Enam Hadzide have also been in the news recently for various reasons.
The recent visa scandal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where over 50 persons were deported for posing as journalists, readily comes to mind. Indeed both ministers may need an Obinim sticker to start performing.
3. Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei
The minister of state for Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, has had to answer numerous questions regarding the particular role he plays.
The Ministry is responsible for ensuring that other ministers perform their roles, but has that been the case? Perhaps Dr. Akoto Osei needs one of the wondrous stickers to fire him up.
4. Dominic Nitiwul
It is fair to say that Defense Minister Dominic Nitiwul has been under pressure for the last couple of weeks due to Ghana’s deal to host US troops in the country.
The Minister has been explaining himself on every platform he gets on, but it appears many are still not convinced. Hello Mr. Nitiwul, the Obinim sticker could solve that problem.
5. Ambrose Dery
Interior Minister Ambrose Dery has been sitting on tenterhooks since the beginning of the year with many cases of robbery continuing to pile up.
His competence has been questioned due to the incessant attack on citizens by armed robbers. Although the Police have upped their game, there is still much to done and, just maybe., the Obinim sticker is the solution.
6. Mathew Opoku Prempeh
Minister of Education Mathew Opoku Prempeh is another who may require the famous, wondrous Obinim sticker.
The Minister’s reign has been blighted with demonstrations from teacher trainees and even national service personnel for delay in their allowances. Mr. Minister, the stickers are still available!
In the video below, the deputy education minister, Mrs Barbara Ayisi, speaks on how President Akufo-Addo inspires her, and how the president's success story must also inspire the youth of Ghana to greater heights:
