Samira Bawumia is only a ‘celebrity slay queen’ – Mzbel

Ghanaian musician and a sympathizer of the opposition National Deocratic Congress, Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, better known as Mzbel, has been spotted on camera mocking the wife of Ghana’s Vice President, Samira Bawumia.

Mzbel, with three other friends who were spotted together in vehicle in a live Facebook video, described the second lady as a slay queen who is always jostling with female celebrities on red carpet events to pose for photos.

According to the controversial Mzbel, the current Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, is incomparable to Lordina Mahama’s days in office as the First Lady.

“As for Lordina Mahama, she hardly talks; she is always busy working and you won’t find her attending events such as the red carpet you won’t ever see her there, unlike Samira who is a celebrity who will take advantage of the slightest opportunity to appear on the red carpet and even Kumkum Bhagya events,’’ Mzbel jabbed.

The singer and her male friends in the conversation, alleged that Mrs Samira during the 2016 election campaign insulted the then Mahama-led administration at a number of NPP rallies.

The ‘16 years’ hitmaker also made reference to how Dr Bawumia constantly tagged former president Mahama as an incompetent leader but he [Bawumia and NPP] are now struggling in keeping up their numerous promises to the people ofGhana ever since they assumed office.

“They were always saying Mahama is incompetent and now that they’ve come they can’t see anything. They were bragging about working under Kufuor and thus know more. They thought it was easy,” Mzbel and her friends said amidst laughter.
