The father of the late Ebony Reigns has revealed that he will be attending the 2018 Vodafone Music Awards that is happening on the night of Saturday, April 14.
According to Nana Opoku Kwarteng, he expects his daughter to win the Artiste of the Year and would love to be there to see her win.
He made the disclosure in an interview on Peace FM's Entertainment Review on Saturday.
In his submission, he pleaded with the public to pray and support Ebony for her to win the ultimate prize of the night.
Nana Kwarteng who disclosed that he already had a ticket stated that all of Ebony's biological siblings will be attending.
Ebony Reigns who died in a car crash on February 8, 2018, is highly tipped to win the Artiste Year of the Year award.
If she is able to win, she will become both the first female and posthumous winner at the VGMAS.
Apart from the Artiste of the Year category which she is contesting with Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Joe Mettle, she has been nominated in five other different categories.
The 2018 VGMAs is expected to kick off any moment soon at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
This year's awards ceremony is the 19th edition and it is under the theme “Our Music Beyond Borders.”
Undoubtedly, the biggest night in Ghana's music industry, it will honour players in the industry for their works over the 2017/2018 music year.
