3 police men arrested for hiring guns to robbers

- Police officers at Weija in Accra have been arrested for hiring guns to robbers

- Two of these officers are known as Biggie and Stanley

- The robbers engaged in an accident during their activity

Three police officers at the Weija District Command have been arrested by the Anti-Robbery Squad of the Greater Accra Regional Police for hiring some AK47 rifles to armed robbers.

Adom FM is reporting that these police officers who often station at Kokrobite and Weija, hired guns to some robbers over the weekend.

Also, an eyewitness claims these robbers were involved in a serious accident on their way for the alleged robbery activities.

So far, the names of these policemen are unknown but two men have the popular names of Biggie and Stanley.

Meanwhile, the Weija District Police Commander, DSP Joseph Afuakpah has expressed shock over the development that says the situation is now in the hands of the Anti-Robbery Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
