Ghana’s Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, has demonstrated some serious dance moves after she could not resist the temptation to join some children as they danced their hearts out to Funny Face’s ‘Cow and Chicken’ music.
The wife of the Vice President was joined by the Deputy Minister of Education in-charge-of Technical and Vocational Education and Training and Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North Constituency, Barbara Asher Ayisi.
The two demonstrated their dancing prowess as Comedian Funny Face performed his song ‘Cow and Chicken’ with some children at a book reading event in Accra.
The event, which was organised by the Samira Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), was part of activities to mark the ‘World Book Day’. The day was commemorated on the theme ‘Reading: It’s my Right’.
The book reading initiative was part of the Second Lady’s organisation’s goal to improve literacy and cultivate a reading culture among pupils in Ghana and so she spent the day reading books with some pupils from selected schools in Accra.
Self-proclaimed ‘Children President’, Funny Face was among the guests invited to grace the occasion.
As a comedian, he did not only entertain the children, but made adults who were present at the event happy.
Funny Face shared a video of the happy moment on his Facebook timeline which captures the Second Lady and the Cape Coast North legislator dancing with the pupils at the book reading event.
He captioned the video, "When Her excellency the second lady of mother Ghana is at the background dancing to ur song Cow and a chicken and the deputy minister for Education Honourable Barbara is dancing Cow and chicken with you .. and Uncle Ebo White is at da background giving moral support ... my brother , my sister .. there is no greater Joy than this !!
