Social media users express doubts over government’s promise to distribute medical supplies with drones

The Akufo-Addo-led administration, recently announced that there are plans in place to distribute medical supplies with the help of drones, latest by September 2018.

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has said that Ghana will use drones to distribute blood and other essential medicines to remote areas of the country as part of efforts to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Social media users however expressed misgivings about the promise, and raised a number issues they believe may present themselves as hindrances to the effort.
