Driver who survived acid attack recounts dark moments of life without eyes

An acid attack survivor has come out to reveal one of the shocking stories of life after the pain and torture of an acid attack.

Joy FM engaged this survivor, Isaac Yaw Danquah, who got attacked by armed robbers with acid in demand for his properties.

A picture of the acid victim shows him without eyes and a closed nose. In fact, he breathes from his mouth and also can't shed tears of emotions.

It all happened some 7 years ago when two armed robbers jumped into the cab of Isaac Yaw Danquah demanding him to surrender his vehicle to them at Sarkwa in the Central Region.

The armed robbers in the process poured a bottle of acid on him, wrecking corrosive havoc on his face, body, organs, letting of piercing shrieks of a dying man.

'I couldn't see anything', he said as the armed robbers demanded he hands over his keys.The unfortunate story of this night driver continues to raise the question of security in the country.

So far, this helpless young man remains jobless, not knowing where his next meal could come from. Also, police officials in Cape Coast are embarking on a manhunt for these robbers as investigations are ongoing to deal with the menace of crime in the country.
