Kumi Guitar made a record as he was the first artiste to be signed on Zylofon Media after the company started operations two years back.

He was embroiled in somewhat of a fracas when award-winning dancehall act, Stonebwoy, and the entertainment outfit encountered some challenges.

Kumi Guitar attracted a lot of backlash on social media due to his involvement in the issue and more so, received bashing after he recorded ‘Gyae’ a song meant to advice Stonebwoy to desist from fighting with his employers.

Being a father of three, Kumi Guitar is noted for songs like ‘Dream’ and ‘Betweener’. He was nominated for an award in the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards but could not win any accolade on the night.
