Bugri Naabu suffers near-death accident in Tamale

- It all happened when the Northern regional chair was returning to Tamale after a campaign
- He is to undergo surgery
Northern regional chariman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bugri Naaaby is in intensive care at the Tamale Teaching Hospital after indulging in a near-death accident.
Starr FM is learning that Bugri Naabu was returning to Tamale after a political campaign at Sawla and Bole, to seek re-election in the upcoming regional executives’ elections on Saturday, when his car crashed at Larbanga near Damongo in the West Gonja district.

In fact, sources close to the Tamale Teaching Hospital have also confirmed that the NPP chairman undergo a surgery after which he would be flown to Accra for further treatment.
So far, it remains unknown the level of damage the accident has had on Bugri Naabu but from all indications it is clear he might have suffered severe injuries.
