The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is over with Ebony Reigns winning the artiste of the year.
It was a colorful awards night with celebrities either dazzling or scaring us with their outfit. Speaking about "scary", we all know a musician Patapaa was the talk of town not just because of his choice of outfit.
Also, the highly controversial category of a most popular song of the year which was 'snatched' from his dreams by his fiercest contender, Fanci Gadam.
Fanci Gadam's 'Total Cheat' music did the magic for judges of the VGMAs as YEN.com.gh also learns the award was strictly influenced on vote counts of which Fanci won by a huge margin.

In fact, during our latest poll on who actually deserved the popular song of the year, you will be surprised to know that 70 percent of Ghanaians say they want the category awards to be given to Patapaa. Fanci Gadam only had 30 percent of the votes.
