- Shatta Wale is one of Ghana’s successful musicians
- He was formerly using the brand name Bandana in the early 2000s
- Shatta Wale said some 20,000 songs he made during those days were all “useless”
YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of dancehall king Shatta Wale, in which makes a confession of how some 20,000 songs he made in the past never did well.
According to Shatta Wale, during his days as Bandana, he released many songs bothering on the environment, HIV/AIDS and others to promote humanity but they all flopped.
He added that for some of the songs he made, he was very sure they were going to dominate the airwaves but that never happened.
Shatta Wale is captured saying: “I made 20,000 songs back in the days of Bandana, I sang about HIV, planting more trees but they all...I was just worrying myself; I have witnesses.”
While Shatta Wale recounts those ‘dark’ days of his career, others think he is merely doing comedy, especially because of the way he talked in the video.
This has made fans to react differently. Check out some of the reactions.
