Ghanaian music artiste, Wisa Greid has refuted claims that his GHc8,400 court fine was paid by Zylofon Media.
According to a post allegedly released by him on Instagram, a social media platform, he revealed that some people pooled resources together to settle the debt.
He revealed that contrary to news going round, the fine was settled by D-Black, the owner of the Black Avenue Musik label, some people at the Ghana Tourism Authority as well as himself.
He went ahead to say that his bosom friend and currently the Head of Communications for Zylofon Cash and Zylofon Events, Halifax Ansah Addo, reached out to him to offer help.
He further noted that he had no idea Halifax works at Zylofon, as he only knows him as a friend.
News making rounds appeared to suggest that Zylofon Media had taken care of the fine with an amount of GHc10,000.
Wisa Greid was found guilty of indecent exposure and was fined GHc 8,400 or serve a 2-year jail term in default.
On April 30, 2018, the court, presided over by Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, ruled that he should pay the fine, for displaying his manhood on stage, during a live performance at the "Decemba2Remember" Concert organized by Citi FM on 24th December 2015 in Accra.
