YEN.com.gh earlier reported the break-up news of Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy.
On April 16, 2018, the “couple” posted on Facebook that their relationship was over.
According to Shatta Michy, Shatta Wale was always abusing her, beating her up and threatening her with a gun.

While Michy has gone ahead to elaborate further on their said break-up by posting "attractive" photos to "taunt" Shatta Wale, Shatta Wale has kept quiet.
However, in a recent interview on Hitz FM, Shatta Wale has said that their break-up story is “coded”.
Asked what he meant by coded, Shatta Wale said “the whole thing is complicated to me and so I want to keep it low for now”.

Meanwhile, many people on social media have said the break-up news about the celebrity couple is a mere stunt.
Therefore, Shatta Wale claiming that the break-up story is coded could give more reasons for Ghanaians to believe that indeed it is for public attention.

According to latest information, Shatta is currently seeing a "new girlfriend" by name Bigail.
Shatta Michy, on the other hand, has changed everything affiliating her to the “Shatta Movement” empire on her social media handles.
She has also indicated in a latest post that she was "single and free from oppression."
