Barely a week after the official release of Shatta Wale’s Gringo, the music video has garnered over 566,414 views on YouTube.
The video which was released on April 27, 2018 is enjoying massive views as against Stonebwoy’s ‘Tomorrow’ which was released on April 20, a week after Shatta Wale’ ‘Gringo’.
Checks by Yen.com.gh shows that Stonebwoy’s music video, ‘Tomorrow’ has as well recorded over 480,000 views on YouTube.
Although ‘Gringo’ upon its release has received huge criticisms from a section of the public, the music video is still topping iTunes chart and has been trending as the number 1 video on Youtube for the past 4 days.

According to unconfirmed reports, the Bhim Nation President was hoping to hit about 1 million views on YouTube within a week, but the ‘Tomorrow’ video is yet to cross 500,000 views after 13 days.
Some entertainment fans who are monitoring the two music videos on YouTube are comparing and analyzing figures of the videos although the two dancehall artistes have different concepts.
Many of the fans are of the views that, Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ has had more attention and sparked more conversations on various social media platforms as compared to that of Stonebwoy’s ‘Tomorrow'.

The two artistes believe to be dancehall ‘rivals’ in Ghana music industry are signed on Zylofon Media record label.
Stonebwoy who dropped his music video ahead of Shatta, was widely criticized for not crediting Zylofon Media, as the record label’s logo was not featured in the music video.
