According to an article sighted on Ghanacelebrities.com, Mr. Richard Brown who received a lot of backlash from social media after resurfacing recently has shared a story on what really happened.
According to the website, Richard Brown did not decide forfeit his fatherly duties and leave his son without taking care of him. It was Nana Aba Anamoah’s decision pure to cut the father off even though his son loved him very much.
The source of the story said when Paa Kow was still a child, everything was going on well as Osibo was taking responsibility as a father by paying Paa Kow’s school fees at the Silicon Valley school.
Things eventually went south with mother and father of Paa Kow when Nana Aba Anamoah travelled to the U.K sometime and called Osibo for some money. At that time the child’s school fees was also due and he was about to pay it.
According to the report, Osibo told Nana Aba to hold on till he was able to raise some money for her but that reportedly pissed off the TV personality.
Nana Aba Anamoah reportedly said she did not need anything from him and went on to ‘warn’ him never to contact either her or their son again.
The source went on to indicate that even though there was a break between Osibo and Paa Kow, he still made several efforts to make things right and continue to be able to take care of his son but Nana Aba rebuffed them all.
The report added that Osibo sent gifts through two intermediaries to be given to his son to be given to the child, but Anamoah reportedly got angry anytime she became aware of these advances by Osibo.
Another attempt to solve the issue was when Osibo and others visited Nana Aba’s home for a meeting with her parents but in full view of her parents, the journalist sacked the visitors.
Mr. Richard Brown, on the few occasions he managed communicate with his son were blocked after Nana Aba Anamoah found out that they were in communication.
After his many attempts to get in touch with his son proved seemingly difficult, Osibo decided to step aside leading to the long absence in his son’s life.
