Prophet Tawiah therefore noted that there was the need for urgent prayers in order to forestall such calamities in the country.

"The Bible says, in the last days there will be wars, fighting earthquake among others.

These incidents have already occurred in some countries, and the effects have been severe. It is time for Ghana to have an earthquake too.”, he noted.

He went on to say that the sacrifice of the goat and the sheep is to avert the disaster, so that Ghanaians don’t unduly suffer.

The Prophet after a vigil prayer session with members of the church placed the animals into a flame of fire as they died slowly.

He however appealed to Christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ who led a holy life while on earth in order to prevent Ghana from experiencing such disaster in future.
