I never wanted to be Ghanaian - Afia Schwarzenegger

On-air personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed that she never wanted to be Ghanaian. Afia confessed in an interview with TV Africa on the Odo Confessions program.

"I really did not want to be Ghanaian," Afia revealed while narrating her childhood memories to the host of the program.

In the course of her narration, the controversial on-air personality also tried explaining why she always gets on people's nerves saying this was proof that she does not only speak her mind but also not worried about what people or society say about her.

She is the vibrant and outspoken host of Ghana’s most popular current affairs show, Kokooko which airs on United Television Ghana Limited (UTV). She also doubles up as a radio show host on Okay FM’s mid-morning show. Afia Schwarzenegger is always making headlines and here are all the details about this controversial celebrity.

Afia Schwarzenegger's life story is marked with some controversy. Amid this, she still has some commendable achievements. She is a professionally trained cabin crew member with a license from the Future Flyers Academy in South Africa.

Afia once worked at South African Airways in Johannesburg from 2007 to 2009 and the Allegiance Air PTY also in Johannesburg. She lived there until 2010 where she went back to Ghana. She became a countrywide sensation after obtaining her first role as an actress in her self-titled comic series “Afia Schwarzenegger” . Her bragging and cunning character depicted in the series won her admiration of many.

Afia Schwarzenegger's background The real name of Afia Schwarzenegger is Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, an Ashanti born on 14th February 1985 in Krofrom a suburb in Kumasi. Afia Schwarzenegger’s age has never been a secret as she is turning 33 years old this year. Her parents are Augustine Agyei and Grace Achiaa.

Her educational background is quite decorated with several institutions; she obtained her basic education at the Ridge Experimental School after which she moved to the Northern Region and enrolled at the Seventh Day Adventist School in Tamale.
