Kelvyn Boy opens up about his childhood challenges in a new video

- According to him, he used to move from one church to another to sing, in order to earn a living

Rising Ghanaian Afrobeat musician, Kelvyn Boy, has opened up about challenges he faced during his childhood.

According to the Burninton Music Group artiste, his rich father deserted him after his mother passed away.

Speaking in an interview on the Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show, Kelvyn Boy revealed that he lost his mother during his teenage years.

He further revealed that he plied several trades just to earn something little to cope.

The musician went on to say that his father expressed no concern about his wellbeing, as his mother was the marriage was on the rocks.

Carefully assessing the situation, he decided to visit churches to sing, in order to earn a living.

Kelvyn Boy also disclosed that even though he hears things about his father once a while, it has been more than a decade since he set eyes on him.

To him, there is no urge to look for his father, as the man had displayed nonchalance with respect to his son’s well-being.

The 2018 Unsung Artiste for VGMAs meanwhile said that he will gladly welcome his father if he comes around despite leaving him to his fate.
