- A disc jockey, DJ Vyrusky, has opened about the story behind his hit song, 'Adwenfie'
- According to him, he suffered a spiritual attack after which half of his face was severely affected
DJ Vyrusky, an award-winning Disc Jockey (DJ), has revealed the reason behind his hit song, ‘Adwenfie’, which featured Shatta Wale and Kuami Eugene.
According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, he stated that some people in the entertainment industry are determined to end his life.
He went on to say that he recently suffered a spiritual attack, after which half of his face was affected.
The two-time overall best DJ at the Ghana DJ Awards went on to say that aside the fact that he is highly spiritual, a man of God informed him that he was under a spiritual attack.
“I woke up one day and half of my face was all gone. You know, I am spiritual so immediately that happened I got a call from my spiritual father telling me that someone in the industry was trying to do something to me.
We could have heard a bad story, but then I believe the man up there (God) says my time isn’t up, so yeah that was the inspiration behind ‘Adwenfi.’” he said.
He again said that composing the song with Kuami Eugene took an emotional turn, and he shed some tears at a point.
“I went to the studio, playing with the keyboard when Kuami Eugene joined me and in no time, we had a vibe.
I was singing ‘Adwenfi’. I actually cried, you should have seen my face, I looked terrible”, he added.
Dj Vyrusky beat stiff competition from DJ Andy Dosty, DJ Mic Smith, DJ Black, DJ Slim and Mr. Kaxtro to win overall DJ of the Year at the just ended Ghana DJ Awards.
