The veteran journalist on Metro TV also hinted that undercover investigation video has the tendency to paralyze careers of some top Ghanaian politicians and footballers.

But the Mr Nyantakyi told Graphic Sports that no member of the GFA has left the country over the investigation piece.

"The only two people I know are out of Ghana at the moment is my good self and General Secretary Isaac Addo. Both of us are on official CAF duty. We are both returning latest by Thursday. Running football is not a full-time job for the GFA Executive Committee so if someone travels to do his private business how does that amount to running away?" the GFA boss explained.

Mr Nyantakyi insisted that for someone to suggest that he and the GFA general secretary are running away is pure mischief.

The GFA President has been in the limelight in recent times following his fallout and subsequent expulsion of his Vice President, George Afriyie.

The move has raised some questions about his intentions to seek re-election in 2019 when his current tenure comes to an end.
