Many months ago, reported widely the news of Shatta Wale attacking some Nigerian artistes.

Shatta Wale, during an interview at Kasapa FM, claimed that he sees no reason why Nigeria’s Wizkid should be called a superstar.

According to Shatta Wale, he is better than Wizkid in the music game therefore he (Wizkid) is no match for him.

Shatta Wale’s infamous comment about Wizkid sparked controversy in Ghana and Nigeria, as Nigerian fans of Wizkid on social media, ridiculed Shatta Wale for his comment, but he stood his grounds.

He later extended the feud to other Nigerian artistes including Timaya and Patoranking, even 'firing gunshot at them' in the air.

Many people expected Wizkid to respond to Shatta Wale’s claim but the ‘On Top Your Matter’ hitmaker was tight-lipped on the matter.

He earned so much praise on social media for ignoring Shatta Wale and causing the feud to 'die' quickly.

But in a new report sighted by on Modern Ghana, Wizkid has finally broken silence on the feud.

According to the reports, Wizkid was called on phone during the launch of 2018 Ghana Meets Naija concert.

After he spoke about what fans should expect from him, Wizkid made a statement that got many people surprise.

He said “Shoutout to Shatta Wale,” then he laughed and dropped the call.

Meanwhile, the 'Ojuelegba' hitmaker is a headline sponsor of the popular Ghana Meets Naija show which comes off in June 2018.
