Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale’s brand went up a notch higher as American actor, Christopher Winbush, shared a video of a programme that discussed the song, 'Gringo'
The music video, which has gained popularity in Ghana and beyond, shows Shatta Wale dressed as a cowboy and engaged in a fight with some Texan natives at a point.
Social media platforms such as Instagram, are flooded with videos of people singing portions of the song.

At the international level, American actor, Christopher Winbush, expressed his appreciation to Shatta Wale and all those who were involved in the project.
He goes ahead to say that even though he has never been to Africa, he feels the love and appreciation for the video from viewers all over the world.
His comments came in after he saw the video being discussed on Multimedia’s Joy Prime channel in Ghana after its release.
According to the Texas-based actor, the music video will open doors for him to pursue his lifetime dream of acting, the reason he never took it for granted.
He further thanked God for the opportunity and added international exposure.
