YEN.com.gh understands that the highly anticipated wedding of Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, will be held at Spintex in Accra.
Sources close to the actor say the ceremony will be a traditional wedding to be held at the residence of his fiancée, Mawunya.
Not much is known of Dumelo's wife-to-be, as she had stayed out of the public eye until now.
Starr FM reported on Friday said that she is close friend of Nadia Buari, and that the actress may have helped to introduce her to Dumelo.
The planned wedding has generated mad buzz on social media, with many fans and friends of the actor commending him and wishing him well.
Kofi Okyere Darko, a close friend of Dumelo, celebrated the news on Facebook and lavished praises on Mawunya, but in so doing, he angered some female celebrities who accused him of "denigrating" other women.
KOD had stated that Dumelo was getting married to a "quiet" and "unknown" lady, who he suggested was a good marriage material.
Claiming that most male Ghanaian celebrities tend to favour women who are not popular, the radio presenter urged women to learn from that and refrain from being too loud and "all over" the place.
"Got me wondering why most men in the public eye settle for quiet/unknownn [sic] women and not the ones all over. That could be a lesson for some of our sisters ooo. Men want women who can make a home and not be all over," KOD wrote
His remarks did not sit well with celebrities like Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Yvonne Okoro, Lydia Forson, Nikki Samonas, Juliet Ibrahim and Deborah Vanessah, who took to Instagram to blast him.
Meanwhile, a lady claiming to be the ex-girlfriend of Dumelo has threatened to "scatter" his wedding tomorrow for allegedly using and dumping her after four years of being together.
According to the lady, Dumelo only broke up with her two weeks ago and instantly announced plans to marry Mawunya.
