Fatal accident occurs at spot where Ebony died, 11 persons killed

- An accident in the Ashanti Region has led to the death of 11 people

- The fatal accident occurred just at the spot where Ebony died

- Police officials blame the accident on poor weather

There has been a gorry accident at Akwatiakrom in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti region, the exact spot where the late Ebony Reings was killed.

Joy FM is reporting that the accident happened when a Ford minibus, on its way from Sunyani to Kumasi experienced a head-on collision with a cargo truck.

This gorry accident, according to myjoyonline, left 11 dead males, including the driver of the Ford minibus and a female.

So far, police officials have blamed the accident on the foggy weather condition which they believe hampered visibility on the road.

It took Fire Service several minutes to arrive at the scene from Sunyani after police from Mankraso were called to help convey both the injured and dead to the hospital as well as manage traffic.

Deceased hiplife artiste, Ebony, suffered the same fate on this stretch together with her friend, Franklin Kuri and the military officer said to be her bodyguard Atsu Vondee. They all died on the spot when their Jeep vehicle crashed into a bus on the Mankraso-Sunyani stretch of the main Kumasi-Sunyani road in February this year.
