YEN.com.gh is in possession of a photo of two men, one of whom has been identified as Jay Peacock, a Ghanaian Gospel musician based in Australia.
The other man bears a striking resemblance to Castro, and this has generated intense debate among a cross-section of Ghanaians.
Theophilus Tagoe, also known as Castro Under Fire, went missing on July 6, 2014 and till date, has not been seen.
Together with some friends, including Asamoah Gyan, the current captain of the senior national football team, the Black Stars, he visited the Ada Estuary, and allegedly disappeared.
A young lady who accompanied them, Janet Banda, also disappeared, and has not been seen or heard of since then.
YEN.com.gh recently reported that the Founder and Leader of the Cosmos Affran Ministries, Prophet Cosmos Walker Affran, in an interview with Kofi TV, stated that the hip- life musician is still alive.
According to him, Castro is alive but afraid to return to Ghana. He explained that Castro, after realizing that Janet Bandu had died, fled because he feared prosecution.
He added that the music artiste is living in a West African country, and will return one day.
The latest photo of the two men has sparked a fresh debate, with many wondering if the second man in the photo is indeed Castro.
Jay Peacock, who is noted with the hit song Spiritual Commando, shared on his Facebook page and wrote: "Is Anything too hard for God? Your Miracle is on the way.”
All attempts to establish the identity of the second man are yet to generate results.
