- Mr. Alabi says he has remained to his wife over the years
Flagbearer aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Joshua Alabi, says he has never cheated on his wife since they got married.
The politician is married to Prof. Mrs. Goski Alabi, with the couple having been together for over 20 years.
Opening up on his married life, Prof. Alabi said cheating on his wife has never crossed his mind, insisting he is a very faithful husband.
According to him, even his wife knows that he will never cheat on her.
“I have been married for the past 20 years. I have two kids. I am a very loving father and my wife and children tell me that all the time. I will not like to cheat on my wife and she knows I will not cheat on her,” Prof. Alabi told Accra-based Starr FM.
Touching on his presidential ambitions, the former University of Professional Studies (UPSA) First Vice Chancellor said his wife is very fit to be Ghana’s First Lady if he’s voted as president.
He said his wife is very “learned and experienced” enough to be able to occupy such a huge position.
“My wife is also a university professor, very learned and experienced. She has given addresses on various platforms both on the local and international levels. I think my wife has what it takes to be a First Lady,” he stated.
On his campaign strategy and blueprint, Prof. Alabi said he has a plan which he believes will work.
According to him, buying votes is not part of his plans because it is not sustainable.
“When you talk of blueprints, you are talking about a detailed plan. It will be worked out between myself and the NDC party. I have a general plan which will work. My team and I do not buy votes. When you buy votes, you won’t be able to sustain it,” he remarked.
