Asamoah Gyan, the captain of the Black Stars, says he would be surprised if the movie to be premiered by Tiger Eye PI reveals corruption in Ghana football.
According to him, he is yet to come across corruption in the sport, and for that reason is doubtful it would be revealed the game’s administrators have engaged in such acts.
There has been an uneasy calm among members of the football fraternity following news of an upcoming expose’ which is rumoured to be focused on football and politics.
Gyan however mentioned that he is eager to watch the movie and would do so if only he is in the country.
Speaking to Hitz FM, he said that “as the captain of the Black Stars, I’m interested in the video and will make time to watch it if only I’m in Ghana. I will be very shocked if it comes out clear that there is corruption in our game.”
The much anticipated video, which is titled ‘Number 12’, is scheduled to be premiered in Accra, as well as other selected cities, starting from June 6, 2018.
