-Leader of student body found electrocuted in his room, leading to his death
- Ken Addo Donkor has died under weird circumstance
The leader of the group, Concerned Law Students of Ghana, Ken Addo Donkor has reportedly died under bizarre circumstances in Accra Thursday.
According a news report by MyNewsGh.com the family of the deceased confirmed the death of their son.
The report also said the late Ken was electrocuted in his room Wednesday evening. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on Thursday afternoon.
The late Ken Addo Donkor was at the forefront, leading students of Ghana to rejected the purported ‘dictatorship’ of the General Legal Council.
He is also known for leading his colleague law students in protesting against the passage of the controversial Legislative Instrument which was forwarded to Parliament by the General Legal Council.
A tribute for him, written on Facebook by TV3’s Thomas A. Pappoe read:
“He championed the cause of concerned law students and always ready to speak to the media when called upon. Unfortunately, you did not live to write the entrance exams and ultimately be called to the Bar. Ken Addor Donkor, rest in the bosom of our Lord”.
The police are investigating what led to his electrocution and eventual death.
