Many doubt I go to church because of 'Pusher' role – Adjetey Annan

Popular Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Annan, has revealed that many people in his church used to give him weird looks anytime they see him coming for service.

According to the actor, he continued getting surprised 'cold looks' from some church members because of the ‘Pusher’ role he played in the popular TV series, 'Things We Do For Love'.

Speaking to Joy Prime recently, Adjetey Annan explained that because the role came with acting like a vagabond, people still have their own perceptions and doubts about who he really is.

Popular television series, ‘Things We Do for Love’ was about the youth and how they live their lives and go about their things in various schools and at home.

The series also revealed how many parents strive to put checks and balances in the ways of their teenage children, by trying to put them on track so they don't go astray growing up.

On his part, Adjetey Anang, who was known as ‘Pusher’ was in a relationship with Dede, but had other girlfriends he played around with.

Pusher was also practically the cause of all troubles that emerged in his neighbourhood.

The swagged up gait, the bandana and the personality of Adjetey Annan from back in the day became talk among many Ghanaian youth.

Over a decade after thrilling Ghanaians with the character, Adjetey Annan said people still assume that the bad boy traits exhibited in the series are real.

Adjetey Annan in his conversation said judging from questions he is frequently asked, is a clear indication that people doubt if he is disciplined and well raised by his parents.
