- Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo, has revealed the reason why she married Eugene Baah, better known as Choirmaster

- According to her, she was more focused on love and not on money

- She added that combining her professional work with her duties as a wife and a mother was a challenge

Popular Ghanaian actress, Beverly Afaglo has opened up on the reason why she married Eugene Baah, popularly known as Choirmaster.

According to her, she married her husband because she loved him, and not because of riches.

Speaking with Mikki Osei Berko on After Hours show on TV3, she stated that she is comfortable with Choirmaster even though he isn’t wealthy.

“I’m hardworking and that is the reason why I didn’t go looking out for the richest man to put me in a Trassaco house because I didn’t have a need”, she stated.

She added that she is capable of making her own money, and for that reason, she has very little in getting money from her husband.

Beverly and Choirmaster are blessed with two daughters from their marriage and the actress admits combining her duties as a wife and mother with her career is not an easy task.

Beverly has been in the movie industry for over a decade now, having started her career as part of the cast for popular television series ‘About To Wed’.

She has also had stints in the media and was one-time the host of TV3’s ‘Music Music’, before later hosting ‘Beauty & Style’ on Metro TV as well.
