A comment the former President made at the New York Ministers Conference of the Assemblies of God Church in the United States has landed him in trouble.
According to John Mahama, his decisions while serving as the President of Ghana made Ghana earn the title “fastest growing economy” in Africa.
He added that his decisions generally led to Ghana being adjudged one of the best growing economies in the world.
However, his comments seem to have landed on the bad nerves of some Ghanaians on social media.
These social media users have treated with contempts John Mahama’s comments, and have not failed to castigate him for that.

Meanwhile, the former President has subtly hinted at his intentions to contest for the flagbearership of the National Democratic Congress for election 2020.
In a social media post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Mr. Mahama said he has listened to calls by the rank and file of NDC members to contest that position and eventually the elections.
He stated that he would not disappoint those who are calling on him to contest.
