Information available to YEN.com.gh indicates that top executives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have suddenly abandoned their offices.
This action, according to sources, follows a call by President Akufo-Addo to the security agencies to arrest the president of the GFA, Kwasi Nyantakyi.
YEN.com.gh understands that senior GFA executives quickly drove off after the news of Nyantakyi’s arrest broke out on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

Kwasi Nyantakyi is expected to be charged with defrauding under false pretence, after President Akufo-Addo allegedly watched the video of an investigative work done by Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI team.
The order for his arrest threatens to loosen his more than 17-years old grip on the Ghana Football Association.
The video is expected to be available for viewing by the public in June 2018.
