- A video showing how GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi left the CID HQ has appeared online
- Kwesi Nyantakyi was at the CID Headquarters to assist in investigations following an order for his arrest by Nana Addo
A video showing embattled President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, being ushered out of the offices of the Criminal Investigations Department in Accra has found its way onto the internet.
The GFA boss who had to cut short his official trip to Morocco to appear before the CID to aid in investigations following an exposé by Anas, was seen being ‘secretly’ shielded from the eye of the journalists and was led into a waiting vehicle.
Some journalists who had been anxiously waiting at the forecourt of the CID Headquarters to take some pictures or even get the chance to interview the GFA boss had the shock of their lives as they saw the FA head been taken away.
Some journalists had to literally chase them to be able to get some pictures of the GFA boss.
A footage was however recorded of the whole episode which appeared almost like a movie.

The GFA president had been allegedly implicated in the latest investigative piece released by award-winning journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
As a result, the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ordered for the arrest of the FA boss to assist in investigations into the matter.
According to snippets of the video, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was allegedly heard defrauding some investors using the name of the President and Vice President.
It is alleged that he was pushing for a sum of $8 million to be given as bribe to Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
Ghana’s FA boss is also alleged to have indicated that he had the president in his pocket and added that Ghana was the easiest place to do business.
Some of the explosive revelations in the soon-to-be-screened investigative piece include match-fixing and bribing of football officials.
Some snippets of the investigation which was a joint effort of Anas’ team and some foreigners have already been leaked on social media.
The free public screening of the video dubbed 'Number 12', will air on June 6 at the Accra International Conference Center.
