- Abronye DC accuses A-Plus of hypocrisy
- A-Plus on his part believes certain members of the NPP administration are looting the state's resources
Kwame Asare Obeng, the musician known as A-Plus, is being accused of sitting in on board meetings at the Korle Bu hospital. The accusations are being led by the vice-chair of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The vice-chair Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC, made the revelation on Accra-based Oman FM. Abronye, himself a controversial member of the ruling NPP was responding to some particular A-Plus' accusations.
A-Plus earlier this month accused the Akufo-Addo administration of failing to conduct itself beyond corruption. A-Plus send the appointees of the president were enriching themselves through the same means they accused the Mahama administration of doing.
But in response to this, Abronye alleged that A-Plus was in the same mess he accused others of. Abronye hinted that the musician was a personal assistant to the chief executive of Korle-Bu.
Dr. Felix Anyah was appointed head of Korle Bu last year. Abronye says that A-Plus, as personal assistant to Dr. Anyah, has been sitting in board meeting with Dr. Anyah.
Abronye DC thought it was hypocritical of A-Plus to throw accusations around. YEN.com.gh is yet to confirm the truthfulness of Abronye's claims. A-Plus on the other hand, is yet to respond to the allegations.
