Contrary to the thinking of some entertainment critics that King Promise is likely to face challenges regarding his brand name because Ghana’s president has been named after him by his critics, the musician says he has no issue with that.
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has been tagged “King Promise” by his political opponents. This is due to his continuous promises to the people of Ghana every time he has the opportunity to do so.
Since there is a musician in the country who bears that name, 'King Promise', some entertainment enthusiasts were of the view that the name given to the president will have an adverse effect on the brand of the "CCTV" hitmaker and make him irrelevant.

He further indicated that there is the need for investment in the creative arts industry. This he stressed would make it more lucrative for the masses.
“We need a lot of support in the art industry, we need more money, more funding.Build centres like workshops where people can learn how to write music or play any kind of instrument. He should also invest in the art industry to train Ghanaian artistes in order to compete with the high-level, with other people,” he said.
