- A pastor has stated that Former President Mahama cannot win the 2020 elections if he contests
- The pastor, Justice Antwi-Boasiako, revealed that God is angry with Mahama over some of his policies and utterances during his tenure as president
- He has therefore advised Mahama to forget about the 2020 elections
Founder of the Victory Life Prayer Revival Centre, Justice Antwi-Boasiako, has advised former President John Dramani Mahama not to contesting in the 2020 election.
According to Antwi-Boasiako, the former president has fallen out of favour with God because of some of his utterances and policy decisions during his time in power were not in line with God's plan for humanity.
For this, Antwi-Boasiako revealed, there is no way the former president or his NDC party would win power in the 2020 elections.
Former President Mahama has indicated that he will contest for the NDC flagbearership although the date is yet to be announced.
Though he is considered as the overwhelming favourite in the internal contest which will likely feature many of his former appointees, Pastor Antwi-Boasiako has stated that Mahama will fail abysmally in the national elections.
Speaking to the media on what he said was a vision from God, he told Mahama to forget about contesting saying God's wrath was upon him.
‘"have been compelled by God to make this known to the whole country that, no amount of campaigning would help Mr Mahama or the NDC to win the 2020 elections because they despised the way of the Lord when they had the opportunity," Antwi Boasiako stated.
He further stated that “God immediately denounced Mr Mahama the very moment he described himself as a ‘dead goat’ and would not heed to the cries and agitations on the labour front.”
The preacher noted that the freeze on employment in the tenure of the NDC is one of the reasons why God has barred Mahama from the presidency and that he could go every length to campaign for the seat but would fail.
Citing 1 Samuel 30:1-8 as the basis for his revelation, he admonished Former President Mahama to seek the ways of the Lord and forget about coming back to the presidency.
Pastor Antwi-Boasiako also cautioned the ruling NPP, that the same fate would befall it if it disregards the concerns of the masses and refuses to provide gainful employment for them.
