A fight that ensued between a head porter and her angry colleague has led to the death of the Kayaye.
The 13-year-old, Aisha, is reported to have been bitten to death at Mamuna in the Kumasi Central Market.
Aisha's death has sent shock waves to head porters and traders at the Kumasi Central Market as they recounted to Abusua FM what exactly happened. According to their narrative the deceased, Aisha, decided to sleep at a place where Mamuna sells her items -the suspect confronted the deceased which led to a misunderstanding.
She was then rushed to the Manhyia Government Hospital where she was allegedly diagnosed with being poisoned.
“When we went to the hospital, the doctor told us, our friend has been infected with poison. This is not the first time Mamuna is doing this. Last year, she bit a certain woman to death and today too our sister is dead because of the same Mamuna. We came here to beat her to death but she is nowhere to be found,” they fumed.
The woman who bit the head porter is wanted out of her place of trade as angry traders have threatened a naked demonstration against the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly if Mamuna is not evicted from the place.
Meanwhile, police officials in the market are investigating the strange issue and have called Mamuna in to help with investigations.
