- The MP says the late deputy NEIP CEO went to Obengfo Hospital purposely to have liposuction surgery
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has finally revealed what sent the late deputy CEO of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP), Stacy Offei-Darko to the Obengfo Hospital.
According to the MP, Stacy Offei-Darko, who doubles as the mother of his 6-year-old daughter, booked appointment with Dr Obeng-Andoh to have a liposuction surgery done on her two thighs and hands.
Speaking exclusively on Accra-based NET 2 television, Kennedy Agyapong disclosed that, 37-year-old Stacy told him that she wanted to conduct liposuction surgery to reduce her hands and two thighs.
“Stacy whom I have a child with did not go to Obengfo Hospital for Malaria; she went there for surgery to reduce her thighs and hands,” Mr. Agyapong revealed on Wednesday.
The exposé comes after the mother of the deceased, Nana Akosua Anima in a media interview dismissed speculations that her daughter died from a liposuction gone wrong.
According to madam Anima, media reports claiming that her daughter was at the hospital for liposuction surgery were preposterous.
The mother of the victim in her media comment insisted that her daughter was beautiful and had a perfect body shape and flat stomach, therefore it would have been ridiculous for her to think of doing anything to her body.
But Kennedy Agyapong on Net 2 television maintained that, claims that Stacy went to Obengfo hospital to treat malaria aare falsehood.
“Stacy confided in John Boadu and told him about her plans to reduce her thighs and hands at the hospital,” Mr Agyapong exposed.
The MP who was clearly angry recounted how nurses at the facility ignored the mother of her daughter, Stacy when she was gasping for breath after the surgery.
The Ghanaian law-maker further vowed to pursue the case to ensure that the facility is closed down for justice to be served.
