NPP Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that her six-year-old daughter she had with the late Deputy Chief Executive officer of the National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP), Stacy Offei Darko has been consistently asking of her mum.
According to the firebrand MP, the little girl is very distressed and has been throwing tantrums all over the house wanting to see her mother.
Speaking on Net2 Television Thursday, Mr Agyapong said his daughter’s demand to see her mother has become incessant.
“She collected my phone and said I should unlock it so she can call her mother because she has memorised her mother’s phone number.
“Just the other day she told the driver who went to pick her from school to call her mother on the phone because she hasn’t heard from her for a while,” Mr Agyapong said.
“'Why is mummy refusing to pick up when she had told me she was going to the Western Region and come back,” the outspoken MP added.
The legislator has vowed to seek justice for her daughter.
Kennedy Agyapong said the 37-year-old young woman died out of the negligence of Dr Dominic Obeng-Andoh and nurses at the facility.
Stacy Offie Darko is reported to have died at the Obengfo Hospital in Accra on May 21, 2018.
