The New Patriotic Party (NPP), Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has threatened to expose Ace investigation journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas in a video.
According to the MP, Anas cannot hold himself a saint, as he has some hardcore video evidence of the journalist also caught on tape taking a $100,000 bribe.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Fox FM, the NPP man insisted that he is also getting ready to premiere another video dubbed, ‘Who watches the watchman’ to expose Anas.
The MP further disclosed that the undercover journalist took a bribe of $100,000 in the past to blackmail some top Ghanaian officials in the past NDC administration which he has on tape.
“I will show Anas confessing to a state Attorney that he has taken $100,000 bribe, if I don’t show may the living God kill me,” Ghanacrusader.com reported.
The report also added that “Let Anas premiere his investigative video on the June 6, and I will also premiere my video titled, 'Who watches the watchman', so he should be ready."
The Ghanaian lawmaker has locked horns with Anas, claiming his approach and methodology of conducting his undercover investigations is unlawful.
The MP who is not happy ever since the journalist hinted of his latest exposé on some top officials of the Ghana Football Association, has on various platforms rubbished the journalist.
He has also threatened to bring court injunction to block the public screening of Anas’ #12 investigation video which is scheduled to premiere on June 6.
