The late Prof. Mills concealed findings on Cocoa and ECG – NSS official

- The PRO of the National Service Secretariat, David Prah, has claimed that the late Professor Mills concealed the finding of an investigative piece during his time as president.

- He added that the work was carried out by the Tiger Eye PI team

- He also revealed that the investigation was focused on the Electricity Company of Ghana as well as the cocoa sector

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Service Secretariat (NSS), David Prah, has claimed that a previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration hid the findings of an investigative work by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

According to a report by rainbowradioonline.com, Prah stated that the late Atta-Mills-led NDC government had evidence of corruption in the cocoa sector and at the Electricity Corporation of Ghana (ECG).

He added that the names of the then President, the late Professor John Atta-Mills and the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, were mentioned in the report.

Even with that development, Prah went on, no action was taken on the matter.

‘’The name of late Mills was mentioned in the video. The name of then Vice President, John Dramani Mahama was mentioned.

What steps did they take? They didn’t take any step. They covered up and allowed some individuals to be punished and others left to go unpunished”, he claimed.

He then commended President Akufo-Addo for his actions, after he watched a portion of Number 12, Anas’ latest work.

President Akufo-Addo called for investigations to be conducted against the President of the Ghana Football Asosciation (GFA).

This was respect to allegations for defrauding under false pretences levelled against the top football administrator.
