- Former president, John Agyekum Kufuor receives customized gold monument medal from Menzgold

Former president John Agyekum Kufuor has been given customized gold monument medals by the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.
The kind gesture was granted to Kufuor during the launch of the three-day Art Festival at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra, on the 1st June 2018.
The customized gold monument medals had the image of the former president boldly engraved on them.
Kufuor is expected to endorse the gold monument medals which would be auctioned to raise funds for his 80 at 80 project.
The 80 at 80 project is being spearheaded by the John Agyekum Kufuor (JAK) Foundation, and is geared towards raising GH¢80million as seed capital for the establishment of an endowment fund to sustain the foundation’s governance and socio-economic development works.
The theme ‘80 for 80’ was chosen to coincide with the 80th birthday of former president Kufuor.
Zylofon Media announced on their Instagram page that Menzgold and its CEO have given Kufuor customized gold monument medals which will be auctioned to help in the fund raising.
“Menzgold gives Former President, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor customized gold monument medals with an engraved image of him on it during the launch of the three-day Art Festival at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Accra, on the 1st June 2018,” the post read.
“The former president is hereby hoping to endorse several of the Customized gold monument medals to be auctioned to raise funds for his 80 at 80 project(JAK foundation) in a few weeks.
“H.E J.A Kufuor felt so enamored by this kind gesture and looks forward to doing more with @menzgoldgh and its CEO Nana Appiah Mensah.”
