- Anas’ latest investigative piece on the GFA is causing “confusion” among some Ghanaians in general
- NPP MP Kennedy Agyapong has said Anas’ mode of operations is bad and should be condemned
- Vice President Dr. Bawumia has spoken on the issue, saying that there is no problem with what Anas is doing
Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has for the first time spoken on the latest investigative piece by journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
The latest exposé dubbed “Number 12” has been received with mixed reaction especially on the part of Kennedy Agyapong, NPP MP for Assin Central.
Kennedy Agyapong has said Anas must be stopped from showing his latest exposé to the public because according to him, the mode of operation he used is bad.
Kennedy Agyapong has said many times that he does not understand why Anas would have to resort to offering bribes and the setting of traps as his mode of operation.
However, in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Citi Newsroom, Dr. Bawumia has waded into the controversy.
According to him, what Anas is doing is very relevant, and also defended his mode of operation.
The Vice President is quoted to have said that: “What Anas is doing is very relevant; people should know that what they do in the dark can be exposed.”
The video, barring any last minute hitches, would be shown on June 6, 2018 at the Accra international Conference Centre.
Recent rumours have it that a bomb scare planned by some people would hit the venue.
But Tiger Eye PI, Anas’ company, has rubbished those rumours.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong has made various damning allegations against Anas.
He has even claimed to have in possession a video of Anas taking a bribe of $100,000 from someone.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, if he does not show the video to the world, he should be killed by God.
