- A woman who is alleged to be a sister to Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has issued death threats to a Tamale chief
- This follows a threat by the chief, Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah, the Dema Naa of Tamale, to release a video
- The video reportedly shows Anas taking bribe from chiefs in order to drop investigations against them
YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video in which an unidentified woman is issuing threats to a Tamale chief.
The unidentified woman claims that the chief, who has been identified as Mohammed Hafiz Abdullah , the Dema Naa of Tamale, was involved in a deal to give $100,000 to investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
This deal was reached, according to sources, so that Anas drops the investigations he carried with respect to some activities the chief was involved in.

The Dema Naa said he was made to part with the money fearing that the investigation would bring him embarrassment so he parted with $50,000 to Anas while his friend also parted with $50,000 to complete Anas' demands of $100,000.issues
The woman has claimed that he will be killed on the morning of Monday, June 4, 2018, if he carries out his threat of showing the video of Anas taking the bribe.
This, she went on to say, follows a plea by Anas’ family to the chief to refrain from releasing the video, as it could damage Anas’ reputation.
"If you go ahead we will also meet you squarely. We will come to you and deal with you.
You say you are an idiot and fool, I swear we will tie you down (kill you spiritually) tonight or by the morning. If we do not deal with you, then it’s not us you are messing with.
You said you would show Anas’ video and you would show it right! What will you get from doing that?
You try and go ahead with it we will also show what we have in our possession of you. Don’t dare us", she reportedly said.
Anas’ latest investigative piece, titled Number 12, is to be premiered in Accra on June 6, 2018.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong. Has also threatened to show a video of Anas involved in corruption.
