Kennedy Agyapong allegedly drops evidence of Anas involved in bribery

- The MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has reportedly released an audio tape

- The tape reportedly captures Anas Aremeyaw Anas in a fraudulent deal

- He added that the journalist takes money from people who don't want their recordings to be aired

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has allegedly released an audio which captures investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw, involved in bribery.

The lawmaker ordered to be played on air, an audio indicating that Anas has been taking bribes from people he investigates.

According to him, Anas uses fear to induce people to give him money. In the audio, a voice which Kennedy claims to be that of Anas, is heard negotiating with some people for the payment of an amount of money.

The MP claimed the payment of money was done to kill a story involving some fraudsters who were involved in a gold deal.

He went ahead to say that Anas must be hanged for corruption as he took bribes from people.

He also stated that Anas has destroyed the lives of so many people, an example being a Customs officer who lost his job because of GHc50.

He further revealed that the customer officer had worked for 25 years, and that he did not even take the GHc50 bribe offered to him in the video

Kennedy Agyapong further stated that Anas has over 40 videos, but he has released only 12 of them.

He went on to say that those who pay have their videos withheld from the public.
