- Yaya Toure has accused Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola of being jealous of him
- The Ivory Coast footballer stated clearly that the Spaniard always have problems with African players
- Yaya Toure joined Manchester City in 2010, and he has left the club at the end of last season
Ivory Coast football star Yaya Toure has accused Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola of being jealous of him and said he was determined to break the myth that has been in existence.
In 2010, the former African footballer of the year joined Manchester City from Spanish club Barcelona in which he claimed Guardiola forced him out at the Nou Camp.
And after winning the Premier League title last season with Manchester City, Pep Guardiola was the first to announce that Yaya Toure will not be part of his plans for next season.
The 35-year-old believes he was eased out of City last season as they marched to the Premier League title and League Cup success because of jealousy on the part of Guardiola.
Yaya Toure also claimed that Pep Guardiola has always been having problems with African players.

“I want to be the one who breaks the Guardiola myth and I think I was dealing with someone who just wanted revenge on me.
“I do not know why, but I have the impression that he was jealous of me that he took me for a rival. There you have it.
“We always looked at each other weirdly. It was as though I made him a little nervous.
“He stole my farewells with City, a club where the fans are magnificent. I would have liked to leave with emotion from this club as did [Andres] Iniesta [at Barcelona] or [Gianluigi] Buffon [Juventus]. But Pep prevented me.
“He was cruel to me. You really believe that Barcelona could have done that with Iniesta? I have even got to ask myself if it was not because of my colour.
“I am not the first to talk about these differences in treatment. In Barca, I know that some people have also wondered.
“Maybe we Africans are not always treated by some in the same way as others ... when we notice that he often has problems with Africans, wherever he is in the past, I’m wondering.
“The day he will line up a team in which we will find five Africans, not ones with citizenship, I promise I will send him a cake,'' Yaya Toure was quoted to have told France Football by UK Telegraph.
The former Barcelona handler stated clearly that the 34-year-old is not part of his plans for the defence of Manchester City Premier League title and also in the Champions League.
