- Kennedy Agyapong believes Dr Bawumia has no idea about Anas' and his 'evil' deeds in Ghana
- The MP says he would pardon Vice President Bawumia for rising to the 'defense' of Anas
The New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene-Agyapong has finally reacted to the Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, over his recent comment on Anas exposé.
The NPP MP, who believes Anas is even more corrupt that many of his victims has waged an intense war on the undercover journalist over his recent video.
The Assin MP speaking on Accra-based Adom FM on Monday maintained that he will pardon Vice President Bawumia for rising to the defense Anas, since he is ignorant about the ‘cunning nature’ of the journalist.
To him, he will travel every mile to expose Anas’ corrupt deeds, his mode of operation as well as all the kinds of havoc he has wreaked on some of his victims.
“If the Vice President knows how Anas is, he will not make that statement again and that is precisely what I want Ghanaians to know,” Mr Agyapong said.
The outspoken Ghanaian lawmaker in his frustrations indicated that Anas under the disguise of fighting corruption in Ghana, has sadly cost many their jobs, while others have committed suicide out of shame.
The MP in his media encounter insisted that Anas is highly corrupt, and therefore doesn’t deserve all the praise he is receiving from Ghanaians.
Anas who has gone undercover to expose massive corruption over the years in Ghana has suffered a major setback over his recent exposé from the MP.
Anas' alleged corruption video, which is set for public screening on Wednesday June 6, has so far indicted the President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi.
Mr Nyantakyi is said to have used the name of the President, the Vice President and other senior officers of the government to lure foreign investors interested in establishing businesses in Ghana.
The GFA boss is currently under investigations by the Criminal Department of Ghana Police service, after the President of the Republic, Akufo-Addo called for his arrest after watching excerpts of the 'corruption' video.
